I can’t believe NaBloPoMo is over! And for the first year I actually did it! That is due soley to having wordpress on my cell phone, I must admit.
Hopefully this does what is intended, nudges me to write more. To upload even just pictures with a few sentences. To try to document more good than bad.
At the very least I’ll have to update on that craft closet, should we ever finish it!

I loathe Xmas season. It is time consuming and mostly petty and tends to bring out the worst in most people. But I LOVE driving around town and looking at Xmas lights. I remember doing it as a kid, piling up with the boys in the van with our hot chocolate and cruising around town.
I can’t wait.

I am wrecked with an after Turkey Day cold. So unless you want pictures on me in socks and blankets on a couch with kitties I got nothing.
It’s been crappy TV and pinterest all day long.

How much do I love this weekend? Baking, drunk bowling, family and my favorite foods, and then three days to recover.
First up – more pumpkin pies than humanly possible.

HSD and I made our second attempt at going to a hot air balloon festivel over the weekend. Our first attempt was two years ago, just before we caved in and started dating. We drove all the way to Albuquerque to see one (1) half inflated balloon. Weather I guess, an utter failure. We had a blast despite the lack of scenery.
This trip to Chandler was only slightly more successful. Five balloon, but only one just barely lifted of. Next time maybe we’ll get up to ten! Which will still be shameful, we frequently see balloons around his house in Cult Town.

I can think of nothing else but the relentless buzzing in my ears thanks to the incredible Fishbone show last night. I tried to find a video that approximated what it was like seeing them live, and how wild the crowd was, but I’m not sure that’s possible to capture on film. Also they all sounded like crap. But perhaps that’s because I have hearing damage.
